Removing the contents of the _MEMBERDATA property of the class(es) you set FAVORITES on in VFP9 should allow you to use those classes again in 8. You may run into problems if you have long property values as well. Refer to the topic "Interactive Development Environment (IDE) Enhancements" in VFP9, section "Properties Window Enhancements" for more details on this.
With regard to your bug with the classes saving more slowly in 9 than they did in 8, we look forward to working with you on that. Please be advised that we're going to require access to the class library with the problem, so having that ready for us when you call will expedite matters. :-)
FYI, I reviewed your BuilderX/FAVORITES bug report and cannot reproduce it. I believe it related to the MereMortals framework you are using.
