>So why isn't VFP on the list of database expertise areas for the MS Partner program?
This is probably related to the fact that there are no longer any Microsoft certification exams for Visual FoxPro based on lack of demand. In the final few years of the VFP certification exam, less than 100 people world wide took the exam while hundreds of thousands took the Visual Basic certification exam. Increasingly, Microsoft will be focusing on enhancing Visual Studio and .NET technologies while also working on adding many great features found in VFP to future VS/.NET versions. The focus of VFP going forward will be on adding the ability for VFP to work well with .NET related products and technologies.
