The great thing about a free society is that we can all have differing opinions and voice them as well. In fact, I would really like to see this issue up for a vote by the
people to see how the majority of the populace feels about it. I could care less how the house and senate feel because even when an individual is elected to congress he often goes a different route than the people that voted him into congress envisioned. Considering that the majority that would benefit would be those without employer sponsored health insurance, senior citizens, or those without jobs, it could be interesting. It may well be that the majority of this country's citizens would agree with you. :o)
You would be surprise how many people think the "socialize" health care is a bad idea. I would say the majority.
