I'm sorry to disagree with this. Even while it is tru that there are other strong product communities, the one around VFP has it quite special features, and this is recognized by Microsoft people. Indeed, many of the people involved with VFP in the past, and specially with the VFP community, are playing key roles in this space, trying to generate some of the same impulse in the .NET sub-communities.

Developer tools are not great revenue generators per se, but strategic products, as they support a platform. In this sense, VFP is not as strategic, but it still has some importance, beside the customer sat issue.
