Wow! I can't believe there are people who don't know how to pronounce "Nate"! Is your full name "Nathan" or "Nathaniel"? I have three sons and one is "Nathan". Most people call him "Nathan", but every once in awhile he's called "Nate".
I was born and raised in Coventry, CT ... "famous" for being the birthplace of Nathan Hale. My mother always thought that I named Nathan after our famous local resident, but I didn't (not consciously anyway) ... I just liked the name. =)

>For those that pronounced it like "at", ie. that gnat is bugging me, please take a long jump off a short pier...are you too stupid to know that the "e" makes the "a" long? I would spell it like "Nat" if I wanted it pronounced that way!
