Yepp, could override mmBusinessObject.SaveDataSet() but I'm not entirely sure when the different overloaded versions of that method are used by the mm framework. For example, SaveDataSet() isn't used when using a mmSaveButton or closing a business form and I'm not sure that the same overloaded SaveDataSet method gets called when using either of those two ways (aka, I'm not sure which SaveDataSet method is the best one to override)

Thanks for your extra input though, I will definitely refactor that method from the business form and into the business object.
