>Martin, have I mis-read the index?

Yes, Terry, you terribly did.

>Lets count the VFP articles:
>Les Pinter - Pick One
>"... you have to specialize" - no VFP in the title there and we know what Less is pitching (aside from the fact that generalists have a higher probability to survive and the argument of this article goes against logic and common sense)

This is an Editorial, you know, so it doesn't count to any kind of technical classification.

>Cathy Gero
>Cathy Gero's .NOT tips
>"Great tips for NOT developers" ... hmmmm I suspect this one is a NOT one too!

It is not a NOT, but a .NET column, yes.

>Rodolfo Duarte
>Rodolfo Duarte Visual FoxPro Tips
>"Great tips for Visual FoxPro developers" ... Okay - one VFP article so far

A very good deduction on your part.

Kevin and Guy columns are related to .NET, yes, although they are regular and short columns. Of course, you won't mind, but Cathi and Kevin's columns, coming them fomr the VFP field, are usually helpful for VFP developers having some interest in .NET, although, of course this is NOT your case.

Oh, sure! That's very good from you. Derivating topics from titles is a good practice, and you scored another one!

>Roberto C Ianni
>Inside the Control Panel
>... no VFP in this title

Ahhh... Too bad. I will push all authors to state VFP and Terry in their titles so you can get a hint, don't worry. By the way, this is a long article about VFP and a bit of C++. Of course, it wouldn't be of any interest for you as it is not "pure" enough.

>Martin Salis

>Since you have swithced (or at least said you have) to NOT, I would guess no VFP here.

Well, you also mis-read person's names, and again, having not the VFP moniker in the title, I urge you to ignore my article. Obviously enough, I'm part of the PA-BA (for Buenos Aires) anti-ecologist complot trying to exterminate the red fox. I'm indeed so nasty a switcher that I even flipped from .NET to Smalltalk and back to .NET!

I can't keep my secret anymore. You, Sherlock Thurber, discovered to the world that the dozen VFP presentations I did on VFP this year are all geared to doom the language. Indeed, when I did the official VFP 9.0 launch at Microsoft Argentina I did it just to hint people VFP is 1999 versions behind Visual Studio 2005! But now that you shed light to my machinations, I'll switch to COBOL and try to push all the remaining developers to RPG.NET.

My sincerest congratulations,
