Lorelei was a DeYoung song that I could digest - it had a light texture, but was catchy. They certainly borrowed from Yes on the vocal harmonizations at the end, and it worked well.
Even "Light Up" and "Lonely Child" were good. My favorites on that album were Mother Dear, Suite Madame Blue, and Born for Adventure.
As I recall, that was the last album with John C., before Tommy Shaw showed up.
They had a great run between Equinox to Paradise Theater. After that, they burned out. I heard they were booed like crazy on their Kilroy tour.
