I set up a real simple business object and a simple windows database maintenance form, mimicing the Jump Start as faithfully as I can.
I set up a real simple default value, I want one field to always be a Y when adding new records.
I set up business rules, one of which I intentionally set to always return a broken rule.
These look to me to be clones of what's in the jump start and the User's Guide.
They don't 'fire' (or whatever you call it). When I add a record the Y doesn't get added to the field and the broken rule is never reported....
Any ideas about what might be wrong?
