I'm *not* talking about that deep of a facility at all!!! Something VERY very simple, really. The most I would expect as far as transaction back-out is concerned is, on recognizing the absence of a prior connection that has some outstanding work being done for it, a rollback (if within a "transaction") or simply flush what's been done to date.
What I am after is some pretty good way to protect the data from careless users or poor power suppliers. Something significantly BETTER than what we have today with FP/VFP, but nowhere near what a SQL-Server offers.
Really, a chance to overcome the two most sensitive areas surrounding any "cheap" solution like VFP. Not a Caddy or a Rolls, just a Corvair with safety features.
