Hi, David.

>I think you're doing fine on balance of articles, since your audience is not exclusively VFP developers. I really enjoyed your recent series on business object architecture, BTW.

Oh, you say this because you're my nemesis, so you want to keep the VFP authors for you only! {vbg}

Seriously, thanks for the compliment. I'm looking forward to meet you next month at Montreal and talk about our mutual experiences at the magazines.

>I think many people might be intimidated into thinking that only "top authors" should submit ideas for articles. As you have mentioned, I am also always looking for "new talent," which simply means VFP developers who have done some interesting things with their apps and are willing to write about it.

Well, it usually happens, but I'm generally doing the same, and judging from some of the feedback I received, we got some good new authors like Roberto Ianni, Pablo van Diest, Danny Cooper, and this kid... what's his name..? Ah, Les Pinter, yes! 8-)

I agree it is very important to try to get people with interesting projects and experiences to write them down and share them with the community. This is where I see our role as Editors provide most value.

>Keep up the good work!

Following you!
