The ones in SoCal I've been through are between LA and Palm Springs they harvest the winds flowing down out of the desert. There maybe others in CA. To someone that doesn't live in those areas yeah they are a curious and interesting thing to look at, for miles and miles and miles. *g*

>I've driven through quite a few in California (I thought they were central or northern California though) and also seen the windmills in Nederland. While the windfarms are nothing compared to windmills, they certainly are not a visual pollution... Rather I thought them interesting.
