Two more ideas:

1. Use DDE to communicate between your Excel spreadsheets and your VFP application. This way your Excel app could "seamlessly" request new HTM exports when a user changes a view in Excel.

2. Create a VFP COM component that generates HTM exports that your Excel app imports into a specific range. Your Excel user interface would call various PEM's of your COM object to generate new data for display.
