I used a trojan horse to install the vfp9 support files. By that I mean this. I wrote a little vfp9 program that only dispalys a messagebox with HELLO WORLD as the text. I then created a project and compiled my exe. Then I turned to installshield express for distribution. I followed the vfp9 help file as to which modules have to be distributed to the target machine along with my exe. HELLO WORLD works great on the target machine. All of the support files are present on the target machine. But.... my home grown vfp9 com objects will not register. The sequence was this. First the Hello world trojan horse was installed on the target machine. Then I copied my vfp9 mtdll's over to the target machine manually. When I attempted to register them via regsvr32 I found the problem. What would you do at this point?

>VFP MTDLL's need a slightly different set of runtime files than regular VFP 9 apps. You need to install and register vfp9t.dll (vs. vfp9r.dll) for MTDLL's. The order in which you register VFP runtime files is also significant. Did you register your runtime files in the order described on the Wiki page that Sergey referenced?
