David;

Disclaimer: Please note this is satire and not the way I think about this topic!

We have a problem with oil supplies and consumption. There is great concern that China (number 2 oil consumer in the world) will increase demand as its population becomes wealthier. I think we have to change our strategy and soon!

We have to start building gasoline-powered vehicles that are extremely efficient and sell them to China! These vehicles have to be so efficient that everyone purchasing a car in China will want one.

As a consequence the oil demand for China will reduce drastically and our oil supply will not be in jeopardy! We can then build bigger SUV’s with poorer gasoline mileage without worrying about supply and demand. China is the key! They are the problem and this will only worsen! This action could avert a world war! :)
