I found it.
This is interesting. I used installshield to distribute a vfp9 "hello world" trojan horse onto my web server. The hello world program's job is just to assure me that the vfp9 runtime support files are present and registered on the web server. InstallShield places msvcr71.dll in my application's install directory and registers it in windows. That's great for the hello world program but I have 4 mtdll's sitting in system32 that I register manually. The mtdll's will not register until I place a copy of msvcr71.dll in system32. Now everything is working and life, once again, is great. Thanx for your help. I think this needs to be passed on to those vfp9 developers that are not using an install program to distribute their mtdll's on a web server. Once again I am reminded that the install proram is the way to go.
