Look into Printer Driver Setup and _PDRIVER in help. You may be able to solve your problem with those tools, but you may have to manually setup the printer. It all depends on what printer you are using. You usually can do simple output to any printer, but the output can be unpredictable on some printers. Once you want formated output it's up to you to code it in DOS. Postscript printers use the postscript language and you would need to code in that for them. HP non postscript printers use PCL. And many other printers have their own languages. It's not like Windows where you have tons of built in printer drivers that handle talking to the printer for you.
