>Does the first char typing work correctly ? If so you could set _dblclick to a higher value so users would have more time to key in other chars. _dblclick setting controls how long it'll wait for another keystroke or empty buffer.

Not sure, Cetin, but I'll check with users if first char works at all. If so, I'll look into the _dblclick setting.
