This seemed to work. When AuroRun put up the first screen, only the section about PreRequisites was enabled. So I clicked on that and eventually I was able to complete the installation process.

So VFP 8.0 works.

VFP 6.0 does not work because of a resource file version conflict. I can pretty well get by with VFP 8.0 so I will stumble along until I have a critical need for VFP 6.0 and go back at it again.
