If you don't need an integrated solution such as the FAQ Sergey mentioned, you can simply call the OPENFILES.EXE command that comes with Windows XP and higher. In addition to telling you who has a table or file open on any server in the network it can also disconnect any user letting you replace the files if needed. To check for open files you need administrator privileges on the server.
