There is on some servers, but I wouldn't bother with it. You would actually have to open a session with the host and ask the host if the email is valid, but almost all of the email servers out there have that feature turned off, so in most cases you wouldn't get a response.

The reason it's turned off is because spammers routinely use that feature to harvest names for their lists.
