Thanks for explaining how I can go about implementing this type of functionality. I've played with some of the new VFP 9 bindevent capabilities via Solution Samples and code posted in FoxPro Adivsor, FoxTalk and on Calvin Hsia's website. I still have a lot to learn in this area. It certainly is exciting technology!

I laughed at your comment about the time investment because I think this is one of those efforts that will take significantly longer than one might estimate.

Another alternative may be for me to implement a scaled down version of the GetFile() or CommandDialog control in VFP using a grid and ADIR() content saved to a cursor.
