The first thing that popped into my head, is that there is a cache setting to never update or to update the page manually. You may wish to check into the caching settings of the pages you are having trouble with.

>One of my clients has run into some problems with my ASP.NET app.
>Some background information:
>- Clients PC is not connected to the internet (it is not connected to enything except a power supply)
>- Client is running XP Pro and has IIS installed
>- An ASP.NET application is installed in /inetpub/wwwwroot which reads and displays information from a table on the local computer.
>- The ASP.NET app is a very simple app that cycles between displaying several regular HTML pages and some ASPX pages
>- The app is not intended to be navigated like a webpage but displayed on a TV monitor only for viewing
>
>The problem encountered is that the dynamic pages (ASPX) are not updated. The information in the table is changed but displayed information remains unchanged.

>I had the client delete all temp internet files (cashe) and select the option to check for new content every visit of the page. This still did not help.
>
>After he deleted temp internet files and tried loading the app (localhost\theApp\index.aspx) he was presented with a messagebox:
>
>The Web page you requested is not available offline. To view this page, click Connect.

>Why does this message come up if he is trying to run localhost?
>Is the fact that he is not connected to the internet the problem?
>Can anyone see anything wrong?
