Yes I guess the good side is more powerfull as an entity than the dark side, but those who goes to the dark side has access (and faster access) to destructive areas of the force. Yoda himself said he was beaten my Sideous.
Ohh and the cows come home around 6pm for milking. lol

Yoda made it clear to Luke in episode V ("Empire") that the good side was more powerful. You could take the view that Yoda was lying or didn't know what he was talking about, but factually, in the end (episode VI) the good side did prevail and the Force was brought back into balance in accordance with their "prophecy".

The fight between Mace and Sideous seemed to easy for Mace. It is said that the dark side is more powerful, so from that I conclude that Sideous is more powerful than Yoda.
