I have been using ON KEY LABEL for years in my applications. It works great.

Place this in your setup code.

PUSH KEY CLEAR
ON KEY LABEL F2 DO 'my.prg' or ON KEY LABEL ALT+S DO 'my.prg'

Use POP KEY in the cleanup code.
