Cetin,
I had a Java Update (SUn) service for some stuff I was doing - but it had a Add Remove option in the control panel. I accepted it when I downloaded the "Sun Studio: evaluation package.
But I have read that XP-SP 2 has spawned many issues with Java. I don't think it's a corporate campaign by MS (though it could appear so:-), I thinks it's a result of the usual and expected sloppiness we've seen in recent product and patch releases from Redmond.
Have you asked Sun about the issue? They usually respond fairly quickly on their Q&A site.
Could it be an Apache issue?
>Gerald,
>No it doesn't help. If it was innocent why would it render XP with SP2s useless to surf internet. Read first line in my message. Do you think it's normal winlogon key is changed? Looked like kind of spammer virus to me. Isn't it strange it'd do 10 connections per sec.
