Neither am I, it takes a lot of work and is one of my biggest challenges when I code, but that also makes it one of the fun parts.

Normally that would elicit a lecture on how the customer always comes first... :) But, truth be told, you are always going to include some of what you like in an interface, after all you are the one coding it. The trick is more in figuring out which of your likes are similar to or the same as those of your customer, that way everyone is happy. Also, you included a way for the customer to make what you liked into what they liked, which was a great idea on your part. And definitely belongs in the tips and tricks section on how to create a sexy interface.
