ok, that was very stupid of me.
I should have guessed that after the fill is done
and no more code is executed, the ca is destroyed
automatically and the grid returns to its original
empty state. I placed a messagebox after
thisform.grdDynamic.RecordSource= "Customers"
and saw the grid's contents
