I hope that I have addressed this to the right catagory.

I have been away from programing for at least 4 years after completion of a rather major VFP 6.0 project. I am now in the process of creating a farily large web site with about 600 pages, each page relating to a particular data field within the database.

It's been a long time since I did any programing work and don't realy want to get into it again, however, I will have to make some changes in order to reach my goal.

What I want to do is use a Hyperlink button (or use some other proceedure that will accomplish my required goal) with the ability to interactively change the URL based on information in the database to direct the link to a page specific to a database record.

If I use the hyperlink button I would have to change cTarget as I navigate throught the database.

How would I do this?

The link would have to change like this as I navigate throuth the data: "http://www.thisparticualrcompany.com" + "/folder/" myfielddata + ".html"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Would I possibly be better off upgrading to VFP 9.0 which may have enhanced features that simplify this process. I don't really want to spend a lot when it's not my intention to get back into development work. I am also concerned about compatibility issues relating to a 6.0 project conversion all the way up to 9.0 and the possibility of an extensive learning curve.

I am sure that a lot has change in the years that I have been away with versions 7.0, 8.0 and now 9.0.
