Hi All,

We just ran into a bit of a snag in our VFP8 to VFP9 conversions.

As noted and discussed in threads: 971680 and 983392, the BINDEVENT() behaviour has changed from VFP9beta to VFP9.

The return values of the delegates are no longer sent back when a flag of "1" is sent. We used this behaviour in a number of places to good effect. The RAISEVENT() - with parameter object "fix" is not nearly as clean in our use case, and in fact, I will have to forgo loose-coupling altogether in some cases.

There seems to be some debate over whether this is a bug in VFP9 or a fix for undesirable behaviour previously supported in VFP8 and VFP9beta.

Does anyone know (or have good guesses) what way the VFPT is going with this?
