Yes you are right. There is no build-in possibilities to do that. There are many good products that do that. FRX2ANY, XFRX etc.
They are not free, but do excelent job.
You can build your own ReportListener Class if you want. Check
http://reportlistener.com to see a sever report listener classes there. Thay could gives you idea how to build your own :o))
