Did you try to put the control in the form as I posted? I see you still have an error in the destroy, you should code it as I posted too, otherwise you'll get an error, you can not close a port that is closed. Before posting my code, I ran it and it works just fine (I'll changed the destroy, the CommPort from 8 to 1 and I run loForm.myComm.mInitialize(), then I put a wait window in the OnComm event that fired as expected. I really do not understand what problems are you having)
