That's great to hear. My experience with MSCOMM32.OCX was based on a dialup data acquistion using modems and VFP 6. I can't remember the details of all the problems we had, but when we switched to the CommTools product, most of our problems went away.

If I have to do COM port based development again I will look at MSCOMM32.OCX with more of an unbiased view. Thanks for sharing your success.
