Were you at DevCon? In my session on COM, I showed a means of extracting all constant information out of a type library (in ADO, it's in the DLL) and creating a .H file. I posted the code on the Advisor web site for the conference along with an ADO .h file. If you were at the conference, you can retrieve it there. If not, I can dig for the file if you like and e-mail it to you.
