(VFP8)

I have a VFP8 project in which I have added an icon different from the default Fox icon. When I do a Fox build, the new icon is correctly attached to the .exe file and shows up just fine.

But when I run the SETUP.EXE created by InstallShield, the target Desktop icon fails to pickup the new icon, but displays the old default Fox icon instead.

Here is what I did in the InstallShield project: I click on Shortcuts/Folders item under "Configure the Target System". Then I right click on "Desktop" in the right pane. I then select "New Shortcut". I then drill down to point to the VFP8 executable and select it as the icon file.

Here's the kicker: I use the exact same process for adding an icon in the "Programs Menu"... same drill down, same icon file, etc. When I run the SETUP.EXE created by the InstallShield build, the icon in the target PC's Programs menu is correct. It's just the Desktop icon that is wrong.

Anybody have any experience with this anomaly?
