Jeff, I share your confusion on this point. My interpretation is that MS hasn't decided whether Sedna will be a full product release that is offered for sale as a standalone product or if it will be an addon component offered for free to existing VFP 9 customers (similar to the VFPCOM and VFPOLEDB components). Ken does state that MS will decide on how its going to "package" Sedna at the end of 2006 - six months before Sedna is released.
