It appears (based on recent appearances and speeches) that she is attempting to become more 'moderate' in preparation for 2008. In 2003 the National Journal listed her as the 9th most liberal Senator and that changed to 34th in 2004. She will have to stand behind her voting record regardless. Americans for Democratic Action gave her a score of 95 out of 100 for her 2004 Senate voting record. The ADA is the top liberal lobbying organization.

>I know a lot of people do not like Hillary and think she is ultra liberal. I have not followed her career and do not know if it is true or not, what is it that make her so far to the left?

>>That's what they said during the re-election campaign also. Proved not to be true. Don't think it will be an issue in 2008 either. However, the issue of ultra-liberal candidates is an issue with a conservative population in America. When the dems realize that and put forth a qualified centrist, they stand a chance (and Hillary is NOT a centrist :) ).
