>While we encourage developers to obtain VFP 9.0, I want to be clear that non of our current plans for enhancing VFP (Sedna, what is in the VFP roadmap) is not dependent at all on the sales of VFP. I do not want any pressure or stress from VFP developers thinking that there is some dependency on sales since that is not the case. Having said that, we will be promoting VFP 9.0 ongoing like with new case studies and such. Hope this clarifies things a bit.
One question that I can't see having been answered clearly here is in regard to support. MS has a policy of x years of support based on, as far as I know, version number. If the vfp9 version number isn't changing, will the end of support deadline still be a moving target?
I'm assuming it will be, but maybe you could clarify?
