Yup....but Clipper was pretty neat in it's day....I don't really see a tremendous advantage to a true compiler. After all, most of us are not using VFP for little tiny distributable apps --- at least I'm not. I don't mind having 4MB or so of runtime support because, after all, 99% of my apps are enterprise-scale solutions. I leave the little Mom and Pop stuff that could benefit from a true native code compiler to VB or ...ahem....Access (which also doesn't have a compiler).
