Like pretty much any company, I would doubt that MS can guarantee anything about the future or a future product. I think you will need to read what Ken has written and use your logic and experience to make your best guess. What has been said wouldn't keep *me* from developing in VFP9 and planning to cash checks from VFP projects for years to come, but everyone else's mileage may vary.

Even if they may not be planning a 10.0 version today, they are planning enhancements to VFP 9 in one form or another, so that's good news from my POV.
