Not such a bad idea Thomas. Up here a few years back, our Ottawa Art Gallery paid $3 Mil for a white canvas with a red strip painted vertically down the center. So; let's see. One red strip including mounting the canvas - maybe a half hour? Give it another half hour to dry sufficiently. Hmmm $3 mil an hour. Some job.

Even more noteworthy, though; they tried to get a court order to stop an angry local yokel later from peddling his own red stripe for a mere $2 Mil at the side of the highway. Something about mockery, they said. I say, If you can't take a joke, you shouldn't be in the art-buying business.
