Nah. *Someday* "Visual" will lose its luster and Visual Basic will become SomeNewCatchword Basic. Perhaps Tactile Basic -- "full applications in minutes, at the touch of a button." Or maybe "Cognitive Basic -- if you think it, it will come."

Thinking about that, it now seems pretty remarkable to me that "Visual" has prevailed for so long as the programming tool adjective "de jour".
