>What an interesting argument. "I moved on". When I see that as the main argument this tells me that you're one of those building apps not based on the needs of the customer but based on your needs. It sure looks better to state in your resume that you've been building apps with .Net rather than with VFP.

Oh, I failed to fully respond to those pithy comments of yours that I quoted above.

1. I was not aware that I was in "an argument."

2. I moved on was my "main argument" for what exactly? I used it as a way to excuse you from not having recalled that we did have a previous ".Net bully" discussion. You're just more memorable than me -- I'll give you that. <s>

3. I'm impressed by your ability to read so much about my business practices from the short message that I wrote to you. Your analysis is incorrect, but it's amazing how much you (think you) can determine from a short comment I posted here. Brilliant. Have you considered submitting your resume to the Psychic Network? Oh wait, I guess you wouldn't have to....

BTW, In case you still have not figured it out, I was poking fun at you for still not having upgraded from VFP 7 while you continue to ask why MS won't market VFP and why they, as some have guessed, don't necessarily plan further full-version releases. I'm pretty sure, even given their current and past level of marketing that you probably heard about VFP 8 and VFP 9 releases, yet you've not upgraded. I'm sure you have good reasons for that. I just find it comical in an ironic sort of way, sorry.

Thanks for cracking me up, Denis.
