One possible scenario is that I only want ppl to access my data within my application. Can't do that now. Once someone has access to the app, they have access to the DBFs (with ODBC and Excel, for example).

Having a DBOpen trigger and TableOpen trigger would solve the problem nicely. I will live without it but I would like to see it happen.
