it's on my own PC though I'm often plugget to a network. Anyway but I'm not 100 % sure about it, I had the same problem also when working stand alone.
Anyway I built a ProjectHook class to my project which provides to backup any file before I open it for modifying. In this way I'm sure that I'll loose only the last release of the file. Better than nothing :-))

But the message 'The file is not open' lets me think maybe it's a network problem ? Is your project on your local computer or on a network drive ??
