Now that I've read it a few times and listend to what everyone else and you have said, I can see what MS means - but being blunt is always nice too. Instead of reading it a few times and trying to 'read between the lines' - the plays on wording and such - could of just said 'will not be a VFP10 but will offer add-ons for VFP9'...hense the mumbo-jumbo part.
