I saw the thread, but I don't know the answer. When I purchased the book a few years ago, I also purchased the PDF. It seems that the site where the book is available breaks out by chapter as HTML. The book was published by Hentzenwerke, but I won't try to speculate on the terms of making it available for free.
However it's made available, it's now available for free, and I strongly recommend that those who want to learn .NET take advantage of the offer and read the chapters. It is (IMO) the best general reference book for introducting the capabilities of .NET.
