> Malcolm, as a quick aside, do you know that your cryptor licence is good for 100 users only, unless you purchased a special licence?
Yes, I'm aware of this issue. Additional licenses can be be purchased relatively cheaply. Perhaps this would be one of the tradeoffs associated with a bundled version of Cryptor, i.e. after 100 users you would have to purchase additional licenses. Or perhaps a version of Cryptor that limited max file size to N Megabytes? (if you need to work with larger files - upgrade to full version?)
As my own aside, do you know if Xitech offers a demo license of Cryptor so that one could distribute demo copies of a product for customer evaluation without having to track Cryptor licenses? I think its almost impossible to offer a freely downloadable demo and have control over how it gets distributed. The advantage of a demo license is that I would distribute more demos and in turn buy more Cryptor licenses. Sounds like a win-win opportunity to me?
I've emailed Xitech and Hallogram (US distributor for Xitech) several times with questions about a demo license for Cryptor. No response from Xitech. And Hallogram keeps refering me back to Xitech.
