Of course, I do have the advantage in this case of knowing for certain that I'm not the one making really silly inferences about someone's business practices based on no facts. Since I fear you may think that remark refers to you, let me assure you that it does not. The reference should be obvious and, if not, does not merit pointing out.
I suppose I should move on again. And by that, as I'm sure you and the many others to whom you referred will assume, I mean of course that I am giving up all of my VFP clients and switching over to Java. :)
It just always pains me when I see someone who seems to be so bent on promoting the idea that we can't use a mix of tools and still do a good job for our customers. Or who seems to think, much less say outright, that if someone uses .NET they have abandoned VFP and that, therefore, we are horrible businessmen (or women). It's just too silly of a notion for me to leave unchallenged, even considering the source.
