Well perhaps I should not have tried to put a "point" on it. What he said (and I think you replied to) was:

I just found that so dripping with irony, especially coupled with his nearby post asking about rebates for upgrading from VFP 7 to VFP 9, that I couldn't help getting involved. Please shoot me. :-)
